This simple green juice is full of delicious nutrient rich fruits and green veggies that provide an abundance of health benefits to your body. It is simple to make and does not require a fancy juicer!

Juicing is definitely a topic that people like to debate. Some say juicing isn’t a great option because of the fact that you lose the fiber inside the plants when making juices. But in my opinion, as long as you’re getting fiber from other foods, then yes, juicing can be a great option to add in a few times a week!

Step-By-Step Instructions

Here is how to make this juice recipe.

Step 1: Place all ingredients in a blender.

Step 2: Puree the mixture until fully blended.

Step 3: Strain the mixture through the nut milk bag and discard the solids.

Step 4: Divide the mixture among two glasses or bottles.

Expert Tips

  • If you are interested in buying a juicer, I recommend a cold press, slow juicer.

  • If you do not have a nut milk bag, feel free to strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer. Use a whisk to move the mixture around and help it through the strainer. Discard the solids.

  • Store the juice in an airtight bottle or jar in the refrigerator.

Variations

  • Use bottled minced ginger instead of ginger root. I would use about 1-2 teaspoons.

  • Toss in other fruits or vegetables you might have in your refrigerator. You can get creative!
